February 2014 Imbolg

This time is when the temperature of the ground is warming, wild flower seeds may germinate and shoots of new life may more safely burst forth from the trees and shrubs.

Aes Dana Grove do not gather for Imbolg, instead we observe its effects and collect our images. This is our time to awaken also.

This winter southern England was battered by a succession of Atlantic storms delivering fierce winds, battering the coastal towns, delivering record rainfall over farmland and causing rivers to burst their banks. Yet temperatures were mild. Is this climate change? Is this the beginning of our Mothers Earths fury at our having so polluted her air and devastated her forests?
