The Little Green Gathering - The Sustainability Centre - Hampshire

The sustainability centre near Petersfield in Hampshire is winning national and international praise for its community centric green initiatives. Set amidst the beautiful setting of the South Downs National Park it makes the perfect venue for gatherings with an environmental educational or spiritual focus.

So it was this weekend when the Green Party took over the centre with talks, workshops, seminars and music. Aes Dana were delighted and honoured to be invited along to teach the essentials and importance of Druid ceremony to people who represented many faiths, with Richie, Kate, Frank and Bex taking up the challenge.

On Sunday the 17th we used this opportunity to unfurl the flags given to us by the Amautas for the first time in England, and true to the spirit of unity represented by these flags our multi faith circle embraced the intent to honour Mother Earth, together as brothers and sisters.

Our special thanks to Tim and the other members of the Green Party who made us feel so welcome and who brought to our circle a special sense of magic that comes when people join together in shared love of the Earth.
